Priority Appointments within 14 days of patient contact.
I work with adults, 16+ experiencing psychological distress related to:
- Grief and loss
- Relationship and family stress
- Chronic stress, burnout, and emotional exhaustion
- Adjustment to injury, illness, or major life transitions
- Work-related psychological injury
Many people remain outwardly functioning but are emotionally overwhelmed and benefit from timely, stabilising support.
Clinical Approach:
My work is grounded in evidence-based practice and draws primarily on ACT and CBT frameworks within a trauma-informed approach. Sessions are structured, paced, and practical, with a focus on:
- Emotional regulation and stabilisation
- Boundary setting and values-based decision-making
- Reducing rumination and distress escalation
- Maintaining daily functioning and autonomy
- Supporting vocational engagement where appropriate
Experience Across Funding Schemes:
I am experienced working with: Medicare | Private insurance | WorkCover | DVA | NDIS
Communication & Collaboration:
I value collaborative care and aim to support continuity between psychology and general practice. Where clinically appropriate and with client consent, I provide concise progress updates and am available for brief communication regarding patient care. I am mindful of documentation requirements and provide balanced, ethical, conservative and clinical assessments.
I take a conservative and ethical approach to documentation and do not provide forensic or medico-legal opinions unless formally requested.
